Apex's annual spring tradition, Hanami (cherry blossom viewing event), was held last Friday at Yoyogi Park.
As Apex continues to grow each year, this year's event saw a record attendance of approximately 130 participants. New employees, interns, family members, and even pets joined in, creating a relaxed and lively atmosphere.
Hanami is often at the mercy of unpredictable weather, but this year brought a welcome change after several days of unsettled conditions. The day transformed into perfect weather with blue skies and comfortable spring temperatures.
The cherry blossoms also happened to be in full bloom. Beyond our Apex group, many others were also visiting the park to celebrate the arrival of spring.
The day began with employees securing our spot at 8 AM. Having scouted the perfect location in advance, they laid down what was likely the largest blue tarp in the entire park, making our gathering spot impossible to miss.
Around noon, employees coordinated to collect foods being delivered to the park—pizza, sushi, tacos, Korean fried chicken, taiyaki—and brought them to our area. Colleagues trickled in throughout the afternoon, and before we knew it, the celebration was in full swing.

This Hanami event serves as an important opportunity to appreciate everyone's hard work during the busy quarter and celebrate our successes together. As we welcome many new employees and interns this spring, we look forward to taking on even more ambitious goals with renewed energy.
